Fira de l’Arròs Pobler (Rice Fair), Sa Pobla

In Sa Pobla, rice cultivation is traditional. Here, the bulb rice variety commonly called arròs pobler is produced, a product to which this fair is dedicated. The fair is complemented by a gastronomic exhibition, in which the bars and restaurants of the municipality prepare special dishes with this cereal. The most famous rice dish in Sa Pobla and traditional in Mallorcan cuisine is arròs brut.
