Fira de Tardor (Autumn Fair), Porreres

Fira de Tardor is held on the second Sunday after the festival of Sant Lluc, at the end of October and on occasion on the first Sunday of November. Year after year, this fair has consolidated itself as one of the most popular in Mallorca. Apart from being a showcase of the strength of the local business, commercial and artisanal fabric. It is a festive day in which the town is filled with stalls selling crafts, animals, agricultural machinery and vehicles. The week before and after the Fair and especially the weekend itself, the town hosts multiple events and recreational, festive, cultural and artistic activities. For years, on the Friday before the Sunday of the fair, the Pla i Llevant Designation of Origin, based in the n’Amengual mill in Porreres, has been holding a very lively Wine Tasting. The day of the Fair is a good day to discover the gastronomic delights offered by the town’s bars and restaurants with their varied typical dishes or to go and taste the places where they serve more select cuisine.
