Fiesta del Quarteró, Bunyola

Bunyola each year hosts the Fiesta de Quarteró festival, which takes place on the last Sunday of January in a finca or estate in the municipality. The festival took place centuries ago but disappeared before it was brought back to life over 20 years ago by the Escola de Ball that still organises the event every year.

Quarteró refers to the measurement of wine farm labourers once received at the end of the harvest. Locals and visitors can expect to enjoy a traditional feast with music and dance, a guided tour and other cultural activities.
